Samsung TV Dropping Internet

Samsung TV Dropping Internet

Our new Samsung smart TV keeps dropping internet service.  Our Xfinity works with every other device in the house and we have had no problems except for the TV.  We contacted Samsung and they reset the IP address, it works for awhile and then drops again.  Any ideas?  Samsung suggested resetting our internet channel to 11, 6 or 1?? Help!

Approximately, how many feet is there between the TV and the Comcast modem?

That could be too far.  I had issue like that with my home, so I installed the Orbi so I could extend the range of my wifi to all my rooms and bedrooms.
