Re: Xfi router getting hot
My router runs failry warm as well, no burning smell, but def warmer than I think it should be. I don't hear a cooling fan running.
I just had this router installed yesterday.
Should I be concerned?

after I had the initial issues and replaced the router, all is fine for a while now...no more problems. I think as long as the fan is not running, it should be fine, but if the temp gets high enough that you hear the fan...time to visit the store or call Comcast.

The spec says it uses ±120V 1.5A. Thats just shy of 200W. Yes, it should be hot. Worried? Probably not, except for your electric bill.
