I bought 3 pods about 7 months ago. After installation, my wi-fi performance went from good to bad. Needless to say I removed them and have noticed that my connection and speed is much better. I tried everything to get the pods to perform like they are hyped up to be. No luck...
Word to the wise, they don’t work and they won’t refund your purchase.
Comcast is a good company that offers quality service and products, but they definitely missed the boat on their inferior wi-fi pods.

Good Evening,

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the xFi pods. I know they come three to a pack, but some homes do not need all three, mine included. We made the error of installing all three and found our signal became much slower. May I suggest that you unplug the xFi pods, (if you have an external router you will want to unplug that as well) then unplug the modem for about 30 seconds. Once you plug your modem back in, let it come all the way back up.  (If you have an external router you will want to plug that in next and wait for it to come all the way up.)

Then begin to plug in the xFi pods one at a time (until they turn white). You may find that you do not need all three- and maybe need to reposition the pods. I hope this helps you- please reach out if you need any additional service. Stay safe and well.
