Pausing Devices not working

I can easily identify and assign devices on my XFi network but when I pause a device, it appears to be paused on the app (and when I log in via a browser) BUT the device continues to be connected to internet. Cannot seem to resolve this.

Spent an hour on phone with level 2 Xfinity agent yesterday who could not resolve it either.

Same here! My grandson is grounded from gaming x 2 weeks - cannot turn off his devices/profile!

Any resolution to this. I have same exact issue. I can pause a device in app or browser, but the device can still access internet via wifi. It's useless, and a problem
