Attempted Access to Gateway

I have been getting 10-30 devices (mostly not connected) accessing my gateway. We have security measures in place that prevent most unauthorized access and allow our teen to use her PS4. Unfortunately, we are getting spammed with devices trying to access our network and the volume has been bogging down our throughput. How do we eliminate the attempts? I pause every time I find them. But not sufficient. Can I get a replacement gateway?

IMHO, a replacement won't address the issue; I have about 45+ devices.  Can you give us some example brand names like ArrisGro?  xFi is aware of all wifi devices in range as well as X1 set-top bxes and all network devices like modems, Playstation, printers, android wifi devices, Chromecast, etc.
