"Connect to in-home WiFi to watch."

Hi there, I am getting a "Connect to in-home WiFi to watch." when trying to stream my local channels on my laptop.  I am connected to my xfintity wifi.  Any suggestions? Tried all the usual of calling in and online chat and yet have fixed this issue.

What device are you using?  Is the device logged in using your SSID and password?

To add, have you changed any network settings? Changed the firewall in your router or disabled band steering, etc?

Do you have an Xfinity cable modem or did you purchase your own?  I started having this problem when we replaced our xfinity modem with one we purchased and the new modem wasn't authorized for our line (it was also reducing our speed).

Tech support can verify/authorize it over the phone for you.

Hi gestubbe. I have completed this interaction because we ended up not hearing back from you on this. If you end up needing further support with it, please start a new thread. Thank you!
