Xfinity Stream not working on browsers Chrome or Edge in new Surface 6 Pro computer

Last month I got a new MS Surface Pro 6 and I have been unable to stream on the computer. Both browsers only show TV Go channels and no DVR recordings. When I click on a TV Go station like CNN it says I need a subscription and I get the same error message for either browser (Error TVAPP-00203).

Called support and they said that this is a known issue but had no time when it might be resolved. Anyone else have this problem? Any potential solutions?

Thanks Michael for the offer to help but I was speaking with the Advanced Team at Comcast and luckily the person I talked with understood the problem and was able to correct it!

For others that find their way to this thread, Comcast told me that the fix was for Comcast to "remove the managed rule for the user name" and then have me sign back in. It worked.

The frustrating aspect of this was that previous Comcast help folks kept thinking that I was part of the outage that impacted Xfinity streaming for many customers across the country. That was not the case.

Hope this helps someone else if they get into this situation!

did you try edge and chrome browser (have to enable flash always for the xfinity stream site)? does an apple or android device work properly?

As stated in the title of this Thread, neither Chrome nor Edge works. Flash is enabled. No issues using Stream on my iPhone with the app or within Chrome. The problem is the using Stream with a browser on the new Surface Pro 6.

It was the correct username. There was just a setting at Comcast that needed to be changed. They did not explain how or why this occurs.

that appears to mean that the username that was being used did not have full access and was restricted from access to streaming apps?
