Whyyyyy does Comcast still require flash.
Comcast likes to project the image of a cutting edge company.... and loves to introduce new features and services WHEN THE CURRENT ONES DON'T WORK... THEN they Flag the question as "ANSWERED" .... WHEN IT HASN'T BEEN ANSWERED to stop users from demanding REAL solutions from Comcast!!
Here are a few examples UNanswered questions that have Comcast has flagged as ANSWERED.
1. Why does Comcast demand the Flash plugin when even Adobe has announced it's scrapping it?? i have a new television that won't allow flash (for good reason... Google it) ... so i can't watch selections from my Home DVR on my commuter home TV.
2. The "sinc with cloud" feature does NOT work on the X1 DVR. My cloud is full and obsolete... with hundreds of shows that won't delete. You need to have a "delete all" button... instead of expecting the user to one by one delete dozens and dozens of shows. ABSURDITY. i've called Comcast Tech Support which is now a joke as they no longer have Level 2 Techs that UNSOLVED problems can be escalated to. Tech support calls are now taken in singapore (or the philippines) ... and the call quality and background noise is a joke. it sounds like hundreds of people are in a hollow room and all talking simultaneously!! FIX IT PLEASE.

the use of a TV web browser is not allowed at this time. you can use the currently free Roku beta stream app on an acceptable Roku device. The flash is used to meet the requirements that are imposed by the providers and subscription terms and conditions, not limited to but including security of the HD stream.
