Trying to watch On Demand from Germany but get Error TVAPP-00306 & network connection issue messages

I am currently in Germany & trying to watch my recorded shows on my computer. I get an error message TVAPP-00306 & it tells me I can watch it through On Demand/TV GO directly but when I try to watch On Demand it just keeps trying to load. It will send me a pop up saying I have network connection issues. I am already connected to the internet so I don't understand what network issues I am having. I contacted Comcast & she reset my account & my boxes etc. That changed nothing. I am wondering if there is an issue due to a possible formating or signal issue that I am receiving. (kind of like European movies won't play on American DVD players & vice versa)

Has anyone else had this issue that could help me figure it out? I am wondering if there is something I need to change on my computer to receive the signal correctly? I really want to watch TV I can understand.

There’s nothing you can do, there’s no access outside of the U.S.

I wonder why the Comcast rep wouldn't just tell me that? It would have saved me hours of frustration! I told her several times I was out of the country. What a waste of time that was. They really need to train their reps better.
