Different recording on computer that what was recorded

Why when I recorded a FSU Basket ball game on Fox Sports Florida (401) I was able to view the game on my TV but when I tried watching it on my laptop it was a completely different program (Rays All Access)?  I believe this is the second time this has happened to me. Has anyone had this problem and why does it happen and what is the fix?
