Chernobyl Audio Issues

Hi, I'm trying to stream the last episode of Chernobyl on my PC (episode 5) and the audio is...wrong. I don't know how to describe it but it sounds slowed down and altered, and downright creepy. Either way, this isn't the case for the other episodes, or for any other show on HBO/xfinity as they played fine. Plus, this only occurs during the episode itself when the dialogue starts (approximately 4 minutes in). The audio for the advertisement in the beginning plays fine. Finally, the same thing also happens when I tried it on a different device, so I don't believe it is a hardware issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As of 11:24 am on 6/23/19 the issue appears to be resolved. Nice work everyone.

I’m having the same issue. Starts while music is playing during swimming pool scene in opening sequence in Pripyat.  Sound is very slow to the point of being unintelligible, too soft and obviously out of sync with video.

Edited to add I’m streaming On Demand through my cable box (not via HBO Go but through Comcast) and nothing else is impacted. Tried restarting cable box, deleting and restarting episode etc but seems like steam is corrupted at the source.

I reported the same issue yesterday. Good to know it's not just me.

Today is Saturday, 6/22/19, 1654..same issue. Can’t watch episode 5. Sound broken. Anyone get any responses? Would love to watch the  final episode! Who do I report it to?

Just called xfinity & they’re adding it to their “trending” log, so the more calls they receive the more likely they are to fix the issue. They also gave me a few free movie coupons as well!

I just called Xfinity and reported. They indicated it’s an issue on their end but could not give estimate as to when it would be resolved. Guess I’ll have to wait for the conclusion....

Called support. At first they denied any other reported issues. After 10 minutes of them telling me there are no othet reports, they now say they see reports, but not enough reports for it to be considered "an outage" or on-going problem. Watching on-demand on the X1 box. Support could not say how many people need to report for it to be considered an outage. Told to check back in 24 hours.
