All Devices Windows, Apple, Iphone, Android Roku Say not on Home Network but I am
On 4/17 I rebooted my cable modem and noticed my internet Wan IP changed. I felt oh no and yes all devices say I am not on my home network. All signed into the Comcast account on the network, definately connected via to WiFi or Wired router. I tested my wired Windows Desktop, wireless Windows laptop, wired Mac Book, I Phone, Android phone, Android Tablet, Mac Tablet, Roku box and all say I am not on my Home Network, signed in derinately to the network account and nothing diferent before I rebooted the modem. I had this problem when I got a new cable modem back in Febuary, looked and my mac address is in the serial number field under devices. I figured it must be some batch update process, having worked in computers and networks over 30 years, waited a week and it worked. However it is done, looks like when something is done on the Comcast Network and my IP changes it does this Your Not On Your Home Network for a week. A bit slow update unless you are post mailing 1980 punch cards someplace to update it, which I doubt. Please fix this issue or at least fix mine, been mostly a problem since I got the new modem in Febuary. The old cable modem I had since 2012 rarely said You Are Not On Your Home Network if that helps. The old and new are both Arris "Motorola Arris" cable modems docsis 3.0.
