XFINITY beta streaming

I have XFINITY WiFi connected to LG 32LM62 tv and XFINITY remote installed on my iPad but it is working. Can anyone give me step by step on how to fix it?

the Xfinity TV remote app controls an x1 set top box not an LG TV.
