Buffering on Xfinity Stream Beta

I notice this all the time no mater if I am watching HD or SD programs on the “live” TV.... it is actually worse than watching over the air using a cheap antenna. My TV is connected via LAN to the router. It actually seems to work better on another TV that uses WiFi 2.4G. If anyone has some tricks or what the issue could be please let me know.

Hello, @Gotdalotta! Welcome to the Xfinity Forums.

I'm glad you reached out to us here for help with the stream beta app.

We definitely want you to be able to enjoy this feature and I'd love to help.

Can you give me a general idea of what kinds of troubleshooting steps you've already taken such as rebooting equipment or replacing any cables?

Can you also run a speed test on both an ethernet and wifi connection so we can see what your up/down looks like. Poor connectivity can often cause the issues you are describing.

I look forward to your reply! 🙂

I have rebooted the Modem, that is directly LAN connected to the TV. Maybe I will switch to WiFi

Have deleted the the app and reinstalled it seems to work better for a little bit then back to buffering. Other apps stream perfectly
