Xfinity Mobile, Samsung Galaxy S8, No Voicemail Notification

For several months I have been using Xfinity Mobile with a "Bring Your Own Device" Samsung Galaxy S8 phone (Android v9, One UI version 1.0, ex-Verizon). When someone leaves a voicemail message there is no notification saying so. Every time I notice a missed call I have to remember to check and see if I have a voicemail message. How do I get voicemail notifications?

I've had my s8 for 3 years and I still can't figure out how to get notifications

Are you using the vm app?

If you mean the "Xfinity Mobile Voicemail" app, I tried it and concluded it won't help. Have you tried this app and believe it can do what is needed?

My S8+ works ok with vvm, however the S10+ doesn't.

By "works ok" do you mean you get a push notification whenever you receive a voicemail? That is my problem. The original post is still a problem for me, even with the latest version of the app. (Please keep on my specific topic, or else the comment makes Xfinity support people think the problem is handled.)
