Upgrading - Holiday deals?
I realize that nobody quite knows the specifics, but I wonder in general if there is an expectation of some good deals for late November/December. Have 3 phones that are all paid off, looking to upgrade but don't want to pay full price.
It seems that most Xfinity Mobile promos appear to only apply to new customers, ie porting in a new line. Do they ever do any offers for existing customers? People obviously can just leave whenever they want but when buying a phone on a payment plan we are locked in for 2 more years... so it seems there should be something available to keep us here, right?

I guess nobody has info. That's understandable, but I'm really hoping something comes our way soon. The current "half off LG phones" would be nice but again it doesn't apply to existing customers.

I think it stinks that existing customers can't get any deals.

I did a chat with customer support, who supposedly double checked with the "promotions team" (or something like that). They confirmed nothing available for existing customers at the moment, but suggested I check back towards the end of the month as that might change. No guarantees though.
Really hoping to stay on Xfinity with some deals on new phones, but if they don't offer anything I'll have to move elsewhere for the discounted devices. So far happy with Xfinity (despite the many horror stories here) but lack of deals is a problem.

As an existing customer, I'm also very frustrated with no deals to upgrade my dying phone. I've made multiple trips to the Xfinity store attempting to get "creative" on upgrade possibilities - to no avail. Planning to purchase a new unlocked phone during Black Friday / Cyber Monday and bringing it to the Xfinity store to transfer from my current phone. A service they have confirmed they will provide at no cost.

Be carefull, i was told in the store that you can not byod a new top end phone (iphone 11, 11pro, S10) to be activated on an upgrade line. The phones that are ~ a year old would be ok but none of the new stuff.

I notice a bunch more phones have the $250 dicount now - LG G8, all the good Samsung models, both Pixel 4 versions, and probably some I'm forgetting. Also 50% off various affordable models too. Would be nice to have those available to loyal existing customers right about now.
