Transferred iPhones to xfinity not enabling wifi calling
I brought two cell phones to xfinity a week ago because the plans look reasonable. However, once I got them set up, neither phone would turn on wifi enabled calling. This feature is extremely important to me because our house has notoriously bad cell phone reception and now that we are all working from home because of COVID, the ability to have calls that have good reception or don't get dropped is critical. I have to have wifi enabled calls.
I literally spent a day on with tech support trying everything they suggested - resetting network settings, making sure the software was up to date, etc. and at the end of the time on with them, the third support person I spoke to that day said that it is a known issue! I wish they had let me know that at 9:30 am when I first called instead of 4:30 after the whole day on the phone with them!
However, I do want to try to make this work. Does anybody know when this known issue will be resolved? Or am I better switching to AT&T or Verizon?

Before switching back try this:
Drive to a location that has a very strong Verizon/XM cellular signal AND where you can connect to a strong WiFi/Internet signal. Power off and on. Now see if you can enable WiFi Calling.
Good luck

That tells you it's still an ongoing issue.
