S20 Ultra not connecting to secure Xfinity hotspots
New upgraded phone from XM but it was not connecting automatically to hot spots. I installed the xfinity Hotspots app and still no connection to secure xfinity. I also installed the xfinity wifi settings app and still nothing. In settings | wifi | advanced I see nothing about xfinity and when I try to add the SSID it won't allow me to access it on the secure network.
Xfinitywifi works but that is not secure.
Any ideas?

Hi @Sph1 Thank you for posting to the forum. I understand your concerns about wanting a secure transmission. I have found some information that may help with your issue. There is also a link at the bottom with FAQs as well. Please let me know if this has helped or if we will need to further troubleshoot.
Understanding Xfinity's Secure WiFi
You can now find Xfinity WiFi Hotspots ("XFINITY") in many outdoor locations and small businesses, and new hotspots are being added all the time.H
Once you’re connected and signed in at a secure hotspot, the data you send between your devices and where the WiFi is coming from is safe.
To get into the secure network, you have to have a secure profile on your device. For Android devices, the profile is part of the Xfinity WiFi Hotspots app. Go to our FAQs to find out more.
When you load the secure profile on your device, you’ll be authenticated automatically, and you’ll be connected to the secure SSID. You have to download the secure profile to connect to the XFINITY SSID automatically, but it’s optional for the xfinitywifi SSID.
