When is RCS Messaging going to be enabled on Xfinity Mobile? Google rolled it out to all phones and carriers last week. Brand new customer on Pixel 4 XL asking...

Yes I agree and I've posted in Google forums questioning why the tweets/statements were made that caused such confusion. As you can imagine they have yet to address those statements and just use the "check with carrier and device". So 100% Google's fault for causing the confusion but now 100% on Xfinity for not being able to pull off the rollout when so many other carriers and devices have.
So today, out of the blue, while in messages I'm prompted to enable RCS and so I'm back on RCS just like the snap of a finger! I'm running the latest Google Messages Beta app(from the Play Store), the latest ver of Carrier services and Activity Launcher...
Update: I received it on my phone (Pixel 4XL on Xfinity Mobile) last night but my wife's phone (Pixel 4 XL on Xfinity Mobile, purchased at the same time) still has not received it...so fingers crossed it will happen soon...
Also, if anyone is interested in receiving some test messages (so I can test our company's roll out Verified Message integration -- NOT affiliated with Google) - I'd be willing to venmo/cashapp a few bucks if you're willing to receive a message and confirm that everything shows up branded like below. All the phones I have are sub'd to internal betas, haven't been able to find anyone in the wild that is on the beta.
Direct message me if you're interested and have the option in your settings!
Both my wife and I are back on RCS also after having lost it for quite some time. Both using Sam A50 Both running Google Messages ver 5.4.084. What ver Messages are you using?
Thank you again for your contributions. The information you post and the conversation that continues to evolve most certainly is appreciated and is immensely helpful to most if not all customers.
As I’m reading the posts, and as many of you are experiencing, RCS is now being supported by Xfinity Mobile. We recently received official correspondence indicating that RCS is being rolled out in phases.
To enable RCS, customers will begin receiving upgrade requests for Messages. Customers must accept the request to install the update. They can also visit the Google Play Store to update their Messages client manually.
Please note RCS is only available if both messaging parties have an RCS-capable device and an RCS-enabled carrier.
Don’t wait to reach back out to let me know if there are any other questions.
It's great to see support for this much awaited product. That being said, how does this factor in with the upcoming new texting app reportedly being built by the 4 major US Carriers(CCMI) in a JOINT collaborative effort to rival the giant Google Messages app.
Is anyone having issues sending mms messages while on wifi? We are having consistent problems with that. Note 9, all the latest Android and one ui updates. Doesn't seem to matter what messaging app. Google, Samsung messages, Textra, Verizon message plus send to work the best but even had an issue with that today.
The fix is always turn off wifi then all messages go. Otherwise they are stuck sending.
Regarding sending MMS issues, I can't say I have a persistent problem but certainly my WiFi is consistently inconsistent! I find myself having to enable airplane mode or reboot often enough to kick-start the darn thing.
RCS messaging available on my moto G7 Power. However, after working for a while, the status now shows "Connecting...", & never changes from that status. I followed the Google support article & cleared cache for the Carrier Services & Messages app, then force stopped, and RCS started working again. However, after some time, it changed back to the "Connecting..." status. Please advise.

Yup, Google released the beta into the wild that allows for RCS for beta-opt in users - this build also included Verified Messages for some users.

My Pixel 3a (BYOD) activated RCS automatically this morning. Tested with other folks, it's working great. BTW, I'm not using the beta Messaging app.
