Poor cell coverage in Oregon
I have discovered that xfinity coverage in Oregon is not the same as verizon, and I suspect that xfinity does not have access to all verizon towers. I had zero bars in places (eg jordan valley) where there was supposed to be 5g and LTE, and I also have experienced generally poor connectivity even in more populated regions--when compared directly to people who have Verizon. I have had mobile service for about a year with one year to go on contract. I like xfinity, but if they do not improve their mobile service, I will be switching to Verizon. I don't even have consistent LTE in PDX and resort to wifi.

I have two phones with Verizon...pretty much since they started, and I just went to their unlimited service. I got a confirmation with details of military discount, and final cost. I later called and was told those figures are not correct. About a $25 difference. So they lied to me.
Looking at Xfinity, but was told they only rent a few of Verizon's towers so the coverage will not be the same as Verizon. Looks like this may be true. Wonder if they have updated their service? The above post is almost 2 years old. I need to know how the coverage is as of 25 June, 2021 since I travel a lot around the US.

My understanding is that XM has access to almost all Verizon towers, many or most shared major network towers, but not necessarily subcontract small cellular rural providers. The only way to tell would be sign up and try it for a month, maybe with a new number and an older compatible phone. If it works okay then port over your existing lines and cancel the test line.
