No visual voicemail on iPhone 11

Hello. I just signed up for Xfinity mobile and am shocked that visual voicemail is apparently a no go for iPhones. 

I have made three contacts to  customer service and, after very extended conversations, plus being placed on hold multiple times, I have received no solution from Xfinity. In fact, after my last 1 hour conversation with a customer service representative,  I was told to terminate the call and she would call back in 5 minutes. That was 3 days ago.  No call back.

I had planned to move all of my family members iPhones to Xfinity, but if this issue is not solved very promptly, I will terminate my subscription to this service. 

Has any iPhone user gotten the promised visual voicemail feature to work? if yes, how?

I have been a customer of XM since May 22, 2020 and I have had access to visual voice mail ever since. I have the 11 Pro Max. Did you bring your phone from another carrier? I have read that if you bring your unlocked phone to a new carrier, you may lose visual voice mail and WiFi calling. At first, I thought that was just for Android but apparently not. I have read people have said the same thing for iPhones on the Reddit forums. As far as the rep saying disconnect the call, that’s because they didn’t know what to do and they can’t hang up on people. That was wrong of what they done to you.
