I know it is unforunate that rebates or discounts on new phones are for new customers, but that seems normal with all carriers. Anyways, is it correct that you have to transfer a line in order to get those discounts? What if you just want to add a new line of service to your account?

If you are adding a new line and would like to partake in the promotion, most offers require the transfer of phone number from another carrier within 30 days of phone purchase date. There are occasions where we have offers that do not require a transfer of numbers. When you go to the website to view the promotion you can click the hyperlink that says, “See Detail”, this will tell you specifics on the offer.
