Charging for backordered device

Chatted with Xfinity Mobile after I noticed charge after order. Was informed they charge for backordered phones. My phone is delayed at least a month and they said it is in their agreement to charge before shipping. Can anyone confirm this?

Update:  The payment dropped off, so that is good...I am guessing they will charge when it actually ships.  The support rep gave the incorrect info.

 

Question:  Curious if anyone else has ordered a Samsung Note 10+, if so is your still on backorder?  Thanks.
