I was having some minor problems with a 6 month old Flex streaming box and was told during a chat that an updated version was being shipped. The agent claimed the newer device has more apps and has been improved. As an Internet only customer, I have to believe there are many others that may be using an outdated device so if you're one of them, you might request a new one.
I was having an issue with opening YouTube and Tubi with voice, but worked fine manually. But knowing there are new apps and that the hardware has been improved is important since the voice feature is what makes the device stand out.
