Why! would you not answer the question? you said apps are not customizeable, use hulu how you are presently useing it? I have used my hulu account before on my TV. I can not remember how I got my account to show up on the TV!  can you answer this problem?

The question was answered, a Hulu app isn't available through Comcast X1 boxes. Use your smart tv or whatever other device that you have that can access Hulu.

use your TV remote and press the apps button or if no apps button the TV remote's menu button and find apps. you must have the TV connected to your wifi in order to use internet apps with your TV.

Check your tv's manual. You should have the Hulu app in the Tv's app menu if compatible with your smart television. You need to use the television's remote to use these features.

The television gets IPV television directly off the Internet. Your cable-box does not come into play when watching Hulu.

It takes multiple companies to agree to a contract, in the case of Hulu has 4 owners (really 3) that are all competitors. Look for Amazon Prime later this year

I have a Vizio Smart TV and was available for a time, but I guess the contract ran out and is no longer available on my particular smart TV. I have to watch Hulu on my tablet now. Perhaps Comcast Xfinity will partner with Hulu in the future like it has with Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video and Tubi Tv.

I doubt it, it’s still an X1 box being used and if you look at the picture posted in the article, it’s all streaming apps (which is the whole point of the article).

At this time, the Hulu app is now available to all Xfinity Flex and eligible X1 customers.

To access the Hulu app, you’ll need:

• A compatible streaming TV Box with Xfinity Flex service, or a compatible X1 TV Box (RNG150 and Pace XG1v1 aren’t compatible) with Xfinity TV service.
• Xfinity Internet service (any level).

Up until now HULU was scheduled to be added in late 2019 or early 2020. Now you are reporting that it would be by the end of 2020. With all the other services out there Comcast is missing the boat. Why would anyone sign up for Flex without the apps that they would want to use. Very disappointed in Comcast in delaying the things that people would want available to them. It would be better if Comcast would just give us a date instead of Comming Soon.

I called about a week ago and asked when the HULU app will be on the X1.   After several trys the rep said it would be 1 to 2 weeks.  Sometimes they tell you what you want to hear.  The fact that you did watch HULU on the X1 tells me they may be working on adding it sooner . I have seen them put something up then take it down trying to get all the bugs out. Lets hope thats the case. As I said before "Coming Soon" just dosn't cut it.

There have been articles about Hulu being the next app accessed via the X1 remote. Some of them say its coming soon, others say it has already landed.  I check the app lineup every day but want to make sure I'm not supposed to do something to trigger it, or activate it (besides logging in with my Hulu account).  Thanks.

The update has probably not come yet to those other boxes. It's in the process of being rolled out though. Sometimes a reboot might bring it on, if not, its just a waiting game for the update.
