Hey Comcast, Your Flex UI is a Horrid Mess!

Who looked at the design of the UI on the Flex box and thought; " OMG, that is wonderful"?

Did you go over to Amazon and pilfer the people who desinged their horrid UI and say; Look, you know how bad the UI you designed for Amazon is? Yes, well we want you to take that and make it an even worse convoluted mess. Also, make sure to load it down as much as you can to make it bloated and lag.

You don't even have your own Xfinity Streaming app for live tv on your own device...... Really???????

Whoever is running your streaming division, should be fired.

I like watching my Amazon Prime shows on my Flex but I have to agree that both the Flex and Amazon UIs are extremely non-intuitive and undocumented, and there's no place to offer feedback.

My beef right now is that it can't remember where I was. I stop watching mid-show (eg. "The Feed", episode 5, 50 minutes) and when I come back the next night, it thinks I'm still watching Hanna or Upload from weeks ago and offers to start the Prime Video app for those shows. When I do start the Prime app, I first have to tell it which family member and then hope it remembers where I was. If only this thing were as good as my Kindle or MoonReader eBook apps.

The lag just trying to use the remote to setup this box is just intolerable. Can't even complete the setup, the box hung up on trying to setup the voice command, which I don't even want. Can't skip the voice command setup. I can't even get to the point were I see how bad it is. All the screen space in the world and you choose the run the keyboard as a single line across the screen! Horribly inefficient. So bad I don’t even want to try and finish the setup. Reseting this box and returning in tomorrow.

Its so hard to use. It gives me a headache just trying to get to the settings. I wish there was a way to have only the apps i want on the homes screen. Even amazon fire sticks do that

After getting the run-around from Xfinity and not be able getting a FLEX because I have Internet AND basic TV from Comcast I bought a $ 35.00 Android Box from Amazon, with Google Play Store installed, now I can watch endlessly, pay channels and lots of free stuff and no more hussle about Xfinity.
