Internet Conection Being Shut Down on a Non Wireless Device (Ethernet)
OK - I have posted a couple of times on here to no avail. Trying again since I think I figured out a potential source of the problem.
I use the XFI app to control my devices at my home. I have created schedules for downtown for my kids, "sleep mode", various limits, etc. It has worked fine up until about a month or so ago. My personal compute rin my home office (a main frame computer with an ethernet connection) keeps shutting down at around 10:15-1030ish every single night. I have not idea why. I checked my XFI app and it shows no devices on the list of "connected devices" or even "non connected devices" that are related to this computer. Again, this computer is not wireless so in theory it should not even show up as one of the devices anyways.
Last night, however, I got a message on the screen whic I am screen shotting which stated that my xfinity connection was "paused". This has never shown up before. So this is a big head scratcher and I have no idea what to do. For some reason it seems the XFI app and schedules are controlling my computer ethernet connection.
