can't access local channels on stream app/website

i got xfinity tv service 2 days ago.  since then i have not able to access local channels (abc fox etc etc) on the stream app/website.  it says i am not subscribed.  every other channels works fine.  i get them on the box just fine.  if i record something on the box the recordings show up on the app UNLESS they are local channel recordings then nothing.  i have spent hours on the phone/chat about this.  i had a tech here this morning and he wasted one a half hours of my time and didn't fix anything.  i upgraded my package thinking that would fix it which it didn't of course.  the only thing left is to try to unsubscribe then resubscribe but then they'll probably charge me a fee again and it probably won't work.
