Xfinity stream app not showing live channels

Xfinity stream app not showing live channels

Hi, I just moved into my apartment and we have a media package. I went to the Xfinity store to pick up a cable box and modem two days ago and installed it at home. The first day I had full access to the live channels, but today those channels are gone, and only showing 2 channels. I read something below that SamanthaP01 posted and it might be a similar problem with transferring name?

what happens when you use a smart phone/tablet and the stream app? is your home TV working?

Since I don't have TV at home, I am watching through the apps. On the first day, I had 100+ channels, two days later, I have 3 channels.

call 800-Comcast and select billing. ask the agent if your account currently includes video (instant TV) service. if not, they can add it to your account. note live numbered channel service is only available while connected to your own home wifi network. TVgo channels/on-demand is available outside the home.
