Xfinity stream, Samsung TV & Firestick

Xfinity should warn people there are so many limitations on its use. If I knew I was going to have so many issues I would have reconsidered. I do not know off hand what model Samsung I have but the Xfinity Stream app is not available through the Smart Hub. I installed a Firestick and the app isn't available on there either. I finally went through the Amazon Silk browser and was able to open Xfinity Stream through the website but there are operating problems. One I had tonight was highlighting and clicking on a show but nothing happens. Xfinity customer service couldn't help much and she said she didn't know what the Silk browser was. It has been frustrating and it Xfinity is vague on what TVs can get the app. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

I wouldn’t call this vague.

some smart TVs currently by Samsung and LG can get the app if their TV meets the requirements. I use Roku devices. the streaming website currently runs on windows 10 and apple iOS.
