Streaming pauses

Is anyone else as frustrated as I am with the streaming?  I record episodes so I can watch them without ads, but when I do, I keep getting interruptions in my service.  it's not my internet because I can go directly to the channel's website and have no constant starts and stops of the streaming.

 

Wondering if anyone has found a solution or if we are all just going to wait for xfinity to fix their streaming capabilites.  

 

Is there a way to download things that are recorded, so they don't have to be streamed?

you  can download to smart devices. have you tried rebooting your PC, going to settings and updates and installed all updates so they are not downloading in the background. how does a smart phone or tablet perform in playing the problem stream at the same time and location?
