Stream local channels with no xfinity equipment

I sent all my xfinity equipment back after months and months of bad internet and bought my own equipment. Now xfinity is saying I can no longer stream local channels unless s I rent their equipment. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way around it? Tired of paying For their junk equipment

Re: Stream local channels with no xfinity equipment

I have a TV that has an antenna to watch my local channels when Comcast/Xfinity is down during hurricanes.

call 800-comcast and tell them you want instant TV service (streaming TV). you must be an Xfinity internet customer. the max number of streaming devices that are allowed at one time is 2. with at least one X1 set top box you can have 5 streams at one time.
