How to stream from mac desktop?

We are away from home during pandemic. Brought my big screen mac so we could stream from it but App store doesn't have Xfinity Stream for desktop (I confirmed this with Apple tech support). Comcast customer support suggested trying to caste from another device but neither android phone nor iPad displays the caste icon from Xfinity Stream App. Am I in some alternate universe where nothing works?!

adding.... use chrome browser and a chromecast dongle to stream to the TV if on the same wifi network.
