I am given the message "one moment please with ref code s0a00". It usually occurs around prime time and on the same few channels. What does this mean?
If you have the S0A00 error message it means your TV Box has not yet been activated or has somehow lost its activation. If the error does not go away within approximately one hour, determine if the error message is on all your TVs, or just one, and then contact us so a representative can assist you. Comcast support can usually just send a new signal and get it working again.
You can also try, checking for loose F connectors on the coax at the back of the box, the TV outlet and any accessible splitters. Excessive splitting in the home can cause signal issues like this. If there are any splitters that can be removed, that will increase the signal to those TV outlets.
Unplug the cable box from the power outlet, disconnect the cable going to the tv, wait 1 to 2 minutes, plug the cable going to the tv back into the box, and then plug back in the power cord. This has been know to help in some instances of this error.
