roku tv cannot get to channel selection

when i select the xfinity beta app and select the.. go to channel....option it does not go to channel selection it just goes back to the ...go to channel option again . what do i do

are you using a roku stick?

go back to your roku menu (not the stream app menu). highlight the Xfinity channel and press the * (star) button and select remove channel. after removal, go to the roku system menu and restart/reboot the roku stick using the menu. then search for the xfinity channel and install it and sign back in. be sure to accept the terms and conditions. working now?

I have the same problem as Bruce71 going several days back.  I've rebooted the Roku tv, uninstalled and reinstalled the streaming app, powered on and off and still not working.  I tried to do a system refresh on the xfinity box but get a message "there is an outage in my area and refreshing won't work". There is no outage and hasn't been one, but still can't perform refresh. I have a Roku TV and the app has been working for last couple of years so this is a new glitch.

did you try a different device (desk/laptop, smart phone/tablet)
