Xfinity Stream Roku not working

Has anybody else had the Xfinity Stream stop working on their Roku device? Worked perfectly until just this last week and have lost it. It states Initializing on a black screen and then finally errors out.

it there was a system problem there would be hundreds of posts about it. does the on-demand work using a smart phone/tablet when connected to the same wifi network? do you get an error message and error number?
