Roku app

 

can I watch my xfinity app on Roku when away from home. I have for three years been able to use chromecast when away from home, Xfinity will not let me do that now. Suggested the Roku, just want to know will that work away from home before I buy it.

No, it is meant for in-home use as a cable box replacement

when away from home using a chromebook or PC laptop and the chrome browser should still work for playing TVgo channels, completed recordings, and much of the on-demand library. are you having an issue?
