Comcast access

I received a used Apple iPad from a friend who apparently was a Comcast subscriber.  I discovered that I could not access some content from xFinity and received a message that  the content required “In-Home Wifi”.  I think that the previous user name was embedded within the iPad because sometimes I was addressed by her name.

How do I reset the iPad Comcast identity to my information?

What app are you using?  Do you have an Xfinity account?  Is there an option to 'log out' which then you could log in with your own credentials?  Or, uninstall/re-install the app and set it up again with your credentials.

Hi @Alan1944  could you please clarify what you meant by it "sometimes" addressed you by your friend's name? and was it the Stream app or the iPad that sometimes addressed you by another user's name? Have you tried logging out/logging in or deleting/reinstalling the app?
