adding... a Roku device (i use express and now ultras) works very well. it has its own separate wifi antenna that seems to work ever so much better than the TV's wireless antenna not to mention having a dedicated processor designed just for roku. try it with the xfinity 'channel' (apps in roku land are channels). I can highly recommend the Roku.
I would like to add that why is the app for tvs still beta. I find it very hard to believe that a company <Edited>, couldnt produce a working app. Think about that for a moment and then decide what you will about Comcast. Also thanks again for replying ex-comcast employee. <Edited>. Perhaps everyone is too busy working on the app.
My addition was to a post that somehow didnt show up previously. Essentially it pointed out that the problem everyone has only seems to appear with local stations on the tv app. Sounds to me like they are blocked and you are aware of this. Otherwise I cant believe a fix couldnt have happened since July, for example when there was someone on the forums asking about the same problem.<br>My rant will end with, again thanks for the suggestions and replays. I dont think suggesting a 3rd party product is appropriate <Edited> and that I may as well go with someone else. Seems the likely conclusion.
