Primary cell number is still linked to old Comcast account. How do I clear this?
We had Comacst at a different residence in another state. We canceled that service almost 5 years ago when we moved. However, my primary cell phone number and primary email address still seem to be linked to that account. I can still log into that account although I can't make changes to it. I cannot update my current account to use either of these and I am forced to use bith a secondary phone number and email account. How do I clear the linkage of my primary phone and email address from the old account so that I can use them for my current account?
Thanks.

Hi Jeff,
There's two ways of going about this.
The first way is you can either in your current account sign-in, go to My Account --> Users --> and click "add a new user" and add the email/mobile to invite your old account. You will then confirm your current address and be prompted to link the old identity to your current account. Once it's on your new account, you should be able to remove them and add them to your original identities, then you can remove the old identity.
The second way is to PM me and we'll take a look at your account.
We're working on making it a lot easier to pull your contact points out, but this is the workaround for now.
Cheers
Jonathan
