Password problem

Hi all. I have a new iPhone SE. In the download process my laptop does not recognize my xfinity account. No attempt to make a new password has worked. When I sign into xfinity on my laptop it tell me I entered the wrong password [that I had just changed]. Ive tried to reset my pw now several times.

Just now i got a pop up that states my comcast is not up to date,oy!!

Also, may I say I wish there were not 2 names - Xfinity and Comcast-  It confuses me as you may already tell.

Were you able to sign in since your post? 

I presume you tried to reset, and were successful in changing it, but it sounds like you're not able to sign in after.


Make sure you were able to follow the instructions on resetting your password here.


What I would suggest is trying to sign in either on another device (e.g. your phone) or another browser, or in your existing browser private browsing in Chrome or Safari) or on your phone, and see if that works.


If that does work, I recommend clearing your browser cache in Chrome or Safari.

If that doesn't work, post what you're seeing (without exposing any personal information) and we'll try to help.
