Does Comcast have special offers for members of the military?
To honor those who have served our country, we have created a process to help us identify and reward active (currently serving and reserves), retired, and veteran members of the military. Such customers who complete our verification process will receive a $25 Xfinity coupon which can be used to rent or purchase movies or as a credit toward their bill. Also, verified customers who signed up for residential Xfinity service with a term agreement on or after January 1, 2018 will receive a $100 Prepaid Visa Card.
You can verify your military service at xfinity.com/military to receive the military appreciation offer. You will need to provide your Comcast core services account number, an acceptable form of ID to verify your military status, and a valid email address. Your email address will allow us to contact you with your approval status and provide instructions for how to redeem your special offer.
Note: New customers who purchased an online exclusive military offer on xfinity.com do not need to re-verify status.
If you received the confirmation email that your acceptable form of military identification was accepted after submitting it to xfinity.com/military, you will automatically receive a $25 Xfinity coupon. An Xfinity coupon is an electronic coupon that can be redeemed for Xfinity On Demand rentals/purchases or as a credit to your monthly Comcast bill. After your application has been processed and your military status has been approved, we will send you an email within 10 days showing you how to redeem and activate the coupon. You will have 60 days after you receive the email to use the coupon.
As for your Visa Gift Card, customers can track the status of their reward on My Account or via the Xfinity Reward Center at www.xfinityrewardcenter.com. When accessing the Xfinity Reward Center, customers can search by entering their billing address, primary phone number or account number on the home page. You can also call 1-800-526-3268 between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM ET from Monday through Friday for status updates.
Why do I have to go through a verification process?
Our military appreciation offer is reserved specifically for members of our United States Military. To ensure only customers who meet the required conditions are able to obtain this special offer, we have a very short verification process to qualify you.
What kind of proof do you require to verify service?
We accept a wide variety of readily available and accepted forms of documentation; the complete list is provided during the registration process. We are looking for official documentation that clearly shows your first and last name, date of birth or discharge/retire date, and a clear affiliation with the military. We strongly suggest you cross out any sensitive information on the documentation you send to us.
Can an authorized user or spouse submit the necessary paperwork on behalf of the member of the military in order to receive these offers?
Yes. An authorized user or spouse may submit the verification information on behalf of the member of the military.
