ANSWERED: How to install Xfinity Stream App on Smart TVs

Question

Can the Xfinity Stream App be installed on a Smart TV?

Answer

Learn how to activate the Xfinity Stream apps on LG, Samsung and Xumo Smart TVs.

Note: Your Xfinity TV and Internet services must be installed prior to using the Xfinity Stream App on your Smart TV.

Getting Started

You'll need to create an LG or Samsung account and link it to your compatible Smart TV before downloading the Xfinity Stream app. See detailed instructions on how to create an account and link a device for LG and Samsung.

For Xumo Smart TVs, the Xfinity Stream app is already installed. If you're an Xfinity TV customer, you just need to link it to your Xfinity ID and password during setup. If you only have Xfinity Internet, you’ll need to add Xfinity TV service to watch Xfinity Stream on your Xumo TV.

Note: If you have two or more linked Xfinity accounts, see How To Link, Unlink, and Switch Between Multiple Xfinity Accounts for instructions on how to set the right default/primary account.
