I'm getting calls from spammers who mask themselves with my own phone number. Turns out, Xfinity won't allow me to block my own phone number. Why not? I want to block calls coming FROM my number, not calls being made BY my number. How do I block those?

So my point is, this is a problem. Why can't you block your own number? It isn't as if you're calling your own number from your own number. This doesn't make much sense.
Thanks for getting back to me. I have reached out to one of my phone techs and advised there shouldn't be an issue. Have you attempted to add your number to the list? Did you get an error message? I'm sorry. I just tried blocking my own number and it works! I thought it didn't when I tried it earlier. So thank you very much for your guidance, and I think we can consider this query closed.
