Xfinity Voice

I just ported my landline to Xfinity.  Xfinity said to wait 3 to 4 days for the transfer to be complete.  I'm not really sure what to do next.  I've been using a modem that I purchased for my computer internet.  It does not have a telephone port on it.   My package includes unlimited voice.  Do I need another piece of equipment from Xfinity?  If so, I'm sure there will be another charge for this.

Yes you do need a different modem/gateway, yes there’s a charge if use theirs or buy your own that is compatible to your service
