Ported VZ to Comcast -- Now cannot receive calls from VZ landlines
Hi. I am a NEW Comcast customer. Installed 3/23/2020, Long-time phone number successfully ported over on 3/31/2020. MY PROBLEM is that I cannot receive phone calls from Verizon LANDLINES located in PA and NY (and probably NJ). The message they receive is this: "The number you are trying to reach is not in service." I can call those numbers, no problem. I have spoken / chatted with approx. 50 FIFTY Comcast employees; I've had a new modem delivered to my home; I have had numerous advanced tech people "escalate" my situation TO NO AVAIL despite assurances that Comcast & Verizon have a gentlemen's agreement to work on situations like these and that it would be a few days and I would be able to receive phone calls. After an hour today with Christian in the Philippines, I've basically been told that I'm on my own -- I need to work with Verizon to solve this. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME??? IT WILL be TWO FULL MONTHS on Tuesday that I cannot receive calls.
