Yesterday I ported my mother-inlaws phone service from ATT to Xfinity. I have a phone plugged directly into the modem TEL1 light is solid. Outbound works great the person receiving my call sees the correct caller id number and name but if you call my mother-inlaw inbound calls still go to the ATT line and never rings on the xfinity line. It's like the port wasn't completed correctly. Do I call xfinity or ATT?
I have a phone directly plugged into the modem, and only outbound works. Inbound never rings the phone. But if I plug a phone into the old ATT line then it rings.
I have the same issue. New ported number from ATT with outgoing working but no incoming calls. Xfinity has been working on it for a week. Have you checked call forwarding? There is a setting that can turn off calls to the home number. Temporarily I'm thinking of trying the call forwarding to a cell phone and seeing if that works
