Deleting Call History
Hello, is there any way that I can delete the calls in my "Call History"? I have read some of the posts in the community forum, but they were from last year. Has anything changed?

Marfanorm, are you referring to removing call history via XFINITY Connect? Due to legal constraints, XFINITY cannot remove items from your Call History.

Marfanorm, I do not believe deleting the call history is an active feature.

It is correct that comcast cannot remove call history per federal regulations. Other phone vendors do allow the customer facing apps to remove their call history but must retain history per the federal regulations. For some reason comcast does not allow the customer facing call history app to have the customer remove their call history while retaining records in the background which is what other phone vendors do. This is the comcast way. Many people have complained about it, asked for a change but it has not happened and will likely never ever happen.

Thanks for your reply, but this issue has been going on for the last 4 years that I have been with comcast and everyone says the same thing but nothing has changed, so I am not going to hold my breath that anything will with the information being passed on. I hate to say that but it is what I have seen since I have been a comcast customer...
