Chatted with an agent and restarted the modem, plugged and unplugged the cords but nothing. The chat got dropped and now the wait times are over an hour.
When the modem was restarted the Tel 1 light came on but then went off and no dial tone. The phone is plugged directly into the modem. Tried a new phone, new cables and nothing. Not a new modem, it's the old one that's like 5 years old.
Was working fine and then a few weeks ago suddenly stopped working. This line is for emergencies if the cells are working.
