permanently remove call waiting

I have been trying to permanently disable/remove call waiting for 5 days.  I have called tech support 5 times and spoken to 8 different people, with an average call time of nearly 40 minutes.   All of whom have told me the exact same thing.  Call waiting has been removed from my line, wait 24 hours.  It has now been over 100 hours since my initial request, yet I am no closer to a solution.  

 

I only added the home phone because my wife needs it for work.  SHE WILL LOSE HER JOB IF THIS ISN'T RESOLVED ASAP!!!!  

 

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

@DavidW2 Did you ever get your problem resolved with the call waiting?  I am having the same issue.  I have spoken to at least 7 different Xfinity reps, to no avail.
